Samuel Soret

Associate Professor and Executive Director, Center for Community Resilience

Dr. Soret combines expertise as an environmental health scientist and medical geographer. His research interests include the health effects of air pollution, environmental nutrition at it relates to dietary patterns and climate change. As a medical geographer he has focused on the application of geospatial technologies and methods for enhancing public health science and policy. He has studied geographic disparities in access to renal transplantation and has just completed research on the characterization of organ donor potential in the United States. Dr. Soret is currently pursuing translational, community-oriented practice and research agendas at the SPH.
