Per de Lange, MSPH, DrPH, has been the Director of the Department of Health in the Norwegian Union over the last 25 years. During this service he has also worked part-time for the regional medical office of the government for 5 years. Per also serves as an adjunct teacher/examiner in public health, nutrition, and nursing at the University of Agder, next to intervention courses with the regional hospital, pastoring a local church, and - together with his wife, Monica, - conducting programs of music and health topics for various denominations and cultural organizations. Through the years he has served as a board member and chair for various national organizations within the areas of public health, nutrition, exercise, and the use of tobacco, alcohol and drugs.
