Jeff Kuhlman joined the physician leadership team at Florida Hospital in July of 2013 after serving thirty years as a U.S. Navy physician. During his naval medical service he completed tours of duty in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and London, England, before spending sixteen years supporting the White House. From January of 2009 until July 2013, Dr. Kuhlman served as the Physician to the President, personally appointed by President Obama. Dr. Kuhlman maintains four board certifications: American Board of Family Medicine, American Board of Preventive Medicine (Aerospace Medicine and Occupational Medicine) and the Certifying Commission on Medical Management. Dr. Kuhlman completed medical school at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and a Master of Public Health degree at Johns Hopkins, with graduate medical education at Loma Linda, the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute, and Johns Hopkins. Jeff and his wife, Sandy, live in Winter Park, Florida with their four children and are active members of the Florida Hospital Seventh-day Adventist Church.
