Aldo Curiqueo was born in the City of Talcahuano, Chile, in 1977. He lived and studied in different Chilean cities, always in Adventist schools, following his father, a church pastor. He finished his pregraduate studies in dentistry at the University of La Frontera, Temuco, Chile in 2003. In 2004 he started working as missionary in the Adventist Clinic of Los Angeles, Chile, until the year 2010, in various administrative and clinical duties.
In the year 2009 he obtained his Masters in Management of Health Institutions from the University of Talca, Chile. In the year 2011 he was called to work at the Advenstist University of Chile and lead in the dental program opening project, which was approved by the evaluating committees in October 2013.He was named Director of the dental program, in 2014, and carries these duties to this day.
He is married to Carolina Maldonado, and they have two children, Manuel, 5 years old and Mailen, 3 years old.
