Elizabeth Bossert, PhD, RN

Elizabeth Bossert earned a BS in nursing at Walla Walla College, a MS from Loma Linda University and PhD from the University of California San Francisco. She has been on the faculty at Loma Linda University since 1978 and has taught in the Graduate Program since 1994. Her research has focused on children’s responses to hospitalization and illness, pain and quality of life experienced by children with cancer. She has published work in various professional journals and presented at national and international conferences. She is Professor of Nursing and since 2005 the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Graduate Nursing at Loma Linda University.

Marilyn Herrmann, PhD, RN

Dr. Marilyn Herrmann is Dean of Loma Linda University School of Nursing. She served as associate dean for 15 years before becoming dean in 2006. She not only has extensive experience in administration but in the teaching and practice of community health nursing. She is the proud grandmother of four exceptional grand-children.

Patricia Jones

Patricia S. Jones PhD, RN, FAAN, is a professor at Loma Linda University School of Nursing (LLUSN). She serves as Director of the Office of Global Nursing at LLUSN, and as Associate Director of the Department of Health Ministries in the General Conference. Prior to her position at LLU, Jones taught at Adventist University of the Philippines, Hong Kong Adventist College, and Vanderbilt University. She completed her basic nursing degree from Walla Walla College, a master’s degree from Andrews University, and masters and doctoral degrees from Vanderbilt University.
