Ismael Gama is an Ordained Seventh-day Adventist minister that has served in church settings, as hospital chaplain and professor. Currently he is the Associate Vice President of Adventist HealthCare, Inc. responsible for Mission Integration, Chaplaincy Services, Health Ministry, Faith Community Nursing program and Community Benefit. Ismael has a passion for spiritual care and development of new leaders in healthcare ministry. He also was responsible for developing a spiritual assessment tool to help chaplains as other disciplines in better understanding the spiritual needs of their patients.

Leon Clark

Prior to his appointment as Group Chief Executive Officer of Adventist HealthCare in 2012, Dr Leon Clark was Chief Executive Officer of Sydney Adventist Hospital for ten years from April 2002. With a strong clinical background, as well as administrative expertise, he was originally an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, and pioneer in his chosen sub-specialty of in vitro fertilisation. A past president of the Australian Private Hospitals Association, Dr Clark currently serves on the boards of several other not-for-profit organisations including The Novus Foundation and Medi-Aid Centre Foundation Limited. Dr Clark is married to Jan, a Registered Nurse and Genetic Counsellor, has three children, two step children and eight grandchildren.
